How is the ATI TEAS test scored?

The ATI TEAS is scored by three categories: Total score, Content Area score, and Sub-Content Area score.

  • The total score is the score you receive on your entire test.

  • Content Area score is the score you receive on each section of the test (Reading, Math, Science, and English).

  • Sub-Content area scores are the scores you will receive on the sub-sections of each area.

How is the TEAS test score calculated?

The TEAS test score is calculated based on how many questions you answer correctly in each section and sub-section.

Keep in mind that the TEAS scores are equated. This means that some questions have more value than others.

Content Area scores cannot be used to calculate the total score since the scoring is adjusted to reflect differences across versions.

The Sub-Content area score is the actual percentage of questions you answered correctly. However, you can't use this to calculate your total score.
